Gardiner Mills Skinner was the first to develop the common fluted spinner. Original patent was in 1874 and originally manufactured in Gananoque, Ontario. The famous turkey wing and turkey foot styles have the Gananoque Ont. stamping in the metal. These particular metal lures are very sought after and have great value.
