Clifford Guise

Clifford had patent a fishing swivel in 1912 but his best invention was his "Spoon Bait". Patent in 1916 this metal springhook was designed to fish in weedy areas. When a fish bit, the two hooks would release from their side pockets and were lodged into the fishes mouth.The metal lures were stamped NAUTO PD 1921.
