F.J. Murray Machine Co. Ltd.

The F.J. Murray Machine Company was located in the village of Weston,Ontario. The period they were producing fishing tackle is uncertain. The village of Weston stood alone until the 1960's when it was absorbed into the Borough of York. Then in 1998 becoming part of the city of Toronto.

Based on the marking on this card of original Murray made lures.I would assume they manufactured fishing tackle pre-1960's.This particular "Rebel" lure has a distinct shape, well manufactured with which appears nickle plated.Marked "The Rebel" Trade-Mark 2/3 Oz. Pat.Pend.
