W.H.Wright

W.H.Wright from Owen Sound,Ontario manufactured a unique Lake Trout metal trolling lure.The metal lure had a lead weight moulded to the shaft of the heavily polished aluminum blade.According to the 1931 AL&W catalog illustration the oval slot allows it to spin with perfect freedom and even balance.The weighted shaft allows the fisherman the advantage of requiring less weight to carry the bait down to desired depths.Although the blade is stamped W.H.Wright,Owen Sound Pat Feb,1910.It is unknown how long these lures were produced.They were found in 1930's AL&W catalogs listed as N0 953 Wright.s Aluminum Trolling Bait.
