Tamco Reel Company, LaSalle,Ontario

Tamco reels were made in Lasalle, Ontario Canada in the 1960's. It is a unique design, basically a closed bail reel with a bit of a different spool, pickup and drive arrangement. The body is cast and machined aluminum. The crank is easily interchangeable right or left by unscrewing the crank caps. The push button in the spool releases the line for casting, the plastic pains at the rear of the spool allow you to see the quantity of line on the spool.
